Ammonium Fluoride
Ammonium fluoride is a fluorine chemical product widely used in the fluorine chemical industry, ammonium fluoride is colorless leaf or needle crystal, easy to delix in air, easily soluble in water, aqueous solution is acidic, heat decomposition to release irritating smoke. Chemical formula NH4F. Molecular weight 37.04. Colorless transparent hexagonal crystal or granular powder, toxic, deliquescent. It breaks down when heated. Specific gravity 1.009(25℃). Soluble in cold water, ethanol. Heat breaks down into ammonia and hydrogen fluoride. The aqueous solution is acidic and can dissolve glass, affecting the skin. In hot water it is decomposed into ammonia and ammonium hydrogen fluoride (NH4HF2). When its aqueous solution evaporates, ammonia is released and becomes acidic, and ammonium fluoride is not obtained. Form insoluble fluoride with magnesium, calcium, thorium and rare earth metals. Form tetrafluorhexafluoride complexes with most transition metals. It is prepared by passing ammonia gas into hydrofluoric acid or mixing ammonium chloride with sodium fluoride and heating uniformly to sublimate ammonium fluoride.

The use:
It is mainly used as glass etch agent, wood and wine preservative, disinfectant, analytical reagent, zirconium dropping reagent and fiber mordant and reagent for extracting rare elements.
Packaging and storage ：
The inner layer is polyethylene plastic bag, the outer layer is woven bag packing, 25kg/ bag. Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat. Keep out of direct sunlight. The package is sealed. It should be stored separately from acids, alkalis and edible chemicals, and should not be mixed. The storage area should be equipped with suitable materials to contain leaks.
